FLAT FEES
The following flat fees must be paid in full before your first court appearance:
DUI FLAT FEE
- A Misdemeanor DUI charge receives the following services for a flat fee of $750 (first offender) or $1250 (repeat offender):
- I'll have a face-to-face office interview with you to determine the best strategy for your specific case
- I'll file a motion for discovery to gather all the evidence from the prosecutor
- I'll file a petition to rescind the suspension of your drivers' license
- I'll petition the court for a permit that will allow you to drive to work, pick up kids from school, go to treatment, etc.
- I'll file a motion to have charges dismissed and evidence suppressed
- I'll file a motion for preservation of evidence (i.e. videotapes and breathalyzer results/logbooks)
- I'll interview potential witnesses who could testify for or against you
- I'll appear in court with you every time you have to appear
- I'll advise you on how and where to attain your DUI Evaluation
- I'll negotiate with the prosecutor in regards to any possible plea bargain
- I'll appear with you at every court appearance, you will always have a lawyer by your side from beginning to end
MISDEMEANOR FLAT FEE
- A Misdemeanor receives the following services for a flat fee of $750:
- I'll have a face-to-face office interview with you to determine the best strategy for your specific case
- I'll evaluate your case and advise you on minimum and maximum sentences
- I'll file a motion for discovery to gather all the evidence from the prosecutor
- I'll file a motion to have charges dismissed and evidence suppressed
- I'll file a motion for preservation of evidence (i.e. videotapes, blood test results, etc.)
- I'll interview potential witnesses who could testify for or against you
- I'll negotiate on your behalf with the State's Attorney (the prosecutor) and present you with any possible plea bargains
- I'll consolidate all of your charges, which will make plea negotiations more economical and beneficial
- I'll attempt to get all or some of your tickets dismissed, especially if you have several
- I'll appear with you at every court appearance, you will always have a lawyer by your side from beginning to end
FELONY FLAT FEE
- A Felony receives the following services for a flat fee of $2500:
- I'll have a face-to-face office interview with you to determine the best strategy for your specific case
- I'll evaluate your case and advise you on minimum sentences
- I'll file a motion for discovery to gather all the evidence from the prosecutor
- I'll file a motion to have charges dismissed and evidence suppressed
- I'll file a motion for preservation of evidence (i.e. videotapes, blood test results, etc.)
- I'll interview potential witnesses who could testify for or against you
- I'll negotiate on your behalf with the State's Attorney (the prosecutor) and present you with any possible plea bargains
- I'll appear with you at your preliminary hearing where a Judge will determine if there was probable cause to arrest you
- I'll appear with you at every court appearance, you will always have a lawyer by your side from beginning to end
- I'll appear with you at your sentencing hearing (if one is necessary) where I'll present the court with factors in mitigation
PETITION TO REVOKE FLAT FEE
- A Petition To Revoke receives the following for a flat fee of $750:
- I'll negotiate an extension of your probation, conditional discharge, or court supervision (to give you more time to comply with the original terms of your sentence)
- If an extension cannot be negotiated with the prosecutor we will have a hearing to challenge every claim alleged by the State in their petition
- I will represent your interests at a re-sentencing hearing where I'll present the court with factors in mitigation and I will also argue against the State's factors in aggravation
- I'll appear with you at every court appearance, you will always have a lawyer by your side from beginning to end
POLICE INVESTIGATION FLAT FEE
- A police investigation receives the following services for a flat fee of $350:
- I'll contact the police and inform them that you have retained me to represent you during the investigation
- I'll write a formal letter informing the police that all communication with you is to be channeled through my office
- I'll speak to the police on your behalf to determine whether you are a suspect or simply a person of interest
- I'll give the police whatever information you authorize in order to try to avoid charges from ever being filed against you (dismissals show up on background checks too)
TRAFFIC/SPEEDING TICKET FLAT FEE
- A Speeding/Traffic Ticket receives the following services for a flat fee of $350:
- I'll have a face-to-face office interview with you to determine the best strategy for your specific case
- I'll evaluate your case and advise you on how this may, or may not, affect your driving privileges
- I'll negotiate on your behalf with the State's Attorney (the prosecutor)
- I'll attempt to get a reduction of speed and/or court supervision to avoid possible license suspension and higher insurance rates
- I'll attempt to get all or some of your tickets dismissed, especially if you have several
- I'll appear with you at every court appearance, you will always have a lawyer by your side from beginning to end
CONTINUANCE FLAT FEE
- A Continuance receives the following services for a flat fee of $250:
- I'll appear on your behalf in court should you be unable to appear for any reason whatsoever
- I'll attempt to get you a continuance so that the Judge does not issue a warrant for your arrest and/or order that your bond be forfeited
- I'll attempt to set your next court date out a month or so, or at any time in the near future which is convenient to you
WILL FLAT FEE
- A Will receives the following services for a flat fee of $500:
- I'll prepare a specifically tailored document which bequeaths your assets per your instructions and last wishes
- I'll prepare a document which appoints an executor - a person handpicked by you to carry out all provisions of the Will; as well as pay your debts, obligations and funeral expenses
- I'll prepare a document which allocates your assets, including specific and general gifts, to the beneficiaries in amounts (and in any way) you desire
- I'll prepare a document which names a guardian for your minor children (physical custody) as well as an alternate should the original be unable or unwilling
- I'll prepare a document which names a guardian for your minor children's property and inheritance, as well as an alternate should the original be unable or unwilling
- I'll prepare a document which appoints a guardian for your pet(s), as well as how they should be provided for
- I'll prepare a document which states in detail how and by whom you would like your remains to be handled (burial, cremation, etc.)
- I'll prepare a brand new document or, in the alternate, incorporate aspects of an old Will into a new Will
- I'll arrange for 2 competent adults of sound mind and of proper age to witness the signing of the Will
- I'll arrange for a Notary to be present at the signing in order to notarize the Self Proving Affidavit portion of the Will
- I'll provide you and your family with an original and several copies of your Last Will and Testament
TRUST FLAT FEE
- A Trust receives the following services for a flat fee of $350:
- I'll prepare a specifically tailored document which bequeaths your assets per your instructions and last wishes
- I'll prepare a document which allocates your assets, including specific and general gifts, to the minor beneficiaries in amounts (and in any manner) you desire
- I'll prepare a document which allocates your assets, including specific and general gifts, to your spouse in any manner you desire
- I'll prepare a document which names a Trustee for your spouse's and/or minor children's property and inheritance, as well as an alternate should the original Trustee be unable or unwilling to perform his or her duties
- I'll draft the trust to include what powers the trustee has as well as what powers they do not have over your estate
- I'll draft the trust to dissolve upon a certain age of a beneficiary or upon a certain event (graduation, re-marriage, etc.)
LIVING WILL FLAT FEE
- A Living Will receives the following services for a flat fee of $350:
- I'll prepare a specifically tailored document which expresses your desire to withhold certain extraordinary medical treatment should you acquire a terminal illness, injury, or disease
- I'll draft your Living Will to direct your treating physician to permit you to die naturally if you reach such a state that your wishes to withhold such treatment cannot be determined
- I'll arrange for 2 competent adults of sound mind and of proper age to witness the signing of the Living Will
- I'll arrange for a Notary to be present at the signing in order to notarize your Living Will
- I'll provide you and your family with an original and several copies of your Living Will
FULL ESTATE PLAN FLAT FEE
- A Full Estate Plan receives the following services for a flat fee of $1000:
- I'll draft a Will including all the aforementioned services
- I'll draft a Trust including all the aforementioned services
- I'll draft a Living Will including all the aforementioned services
BUSINESS ORGANIZATION
- A Partnership Agreement receives the following for a flat fee of $750:
- I'll explain in detail the legal and tax implications of a partnership to you and the other partners
- I'll draft the partnership agreement as either a limited or general partnership depending on your goals
- I'll draft the partnership agreement so the partnership carries on perpetually or so it dissolves upon a specific act, occurrence, or tailored timeframe
- I'll draft the partnership agreement so the rights and responsibilities of each partner contain no ambiguity
- I'll draft the partnership agreement so that the profits and losses are allocated to each partner per the wishes and desires of the partnership
- I'll draft the partnership agreement so that upon the death of a partner the other partners are given the right of first refusal as to purchasing the shares of the deceased partner, or however the partnership would like successor interests to pass
- A formation/incorporation of a Limited Liability Corporation (L.L.C.) receives the following services for a flat fee of $1500:
- I'll explain in detail the legal and tax implications of an LLC to you and the other Members of the LLC
- I'll run a search on your proposed name to be sure no other LLC has already claimed it
- I'll draft the operating agreement so the LLC carries on perpetually for an indefinite time period, or so it dissolves upon an act or timeframe
- I'll appoint a registered agent of your choice who'll act on behalf of the LLC as well as receive service indefinitely or for a specific time from its inception
- I'll apply for and obtain a Federal EIN (Employment Identification Number) for your LLC
- I'll draft and file with the State the articles of organization for your specific company within a month of our first consultation, thus you will receive the limited liability and tax benefits of an LLC in a timely manner
- I'll file all the necessary documents with the State so that your LLC is state legally compliant throughout the course of its existence as well as PAY ALL YOUR FILING FEES
PRENUPTUAL AGREEMENT FLAT FEE
- A Prenuptial Agreement receives the following services for a flat fee of $750:
- I'll evaluate your case and advise you and your future spouse on your various legal rights and responsibilities (including retaining independent counsel for your spouse)
- I'll draft a document which reflects a full and fair disclosure of all assets of each party to the contract, including exhibits in the form of financial statements
- I'll draft a document which states what is to be deemed non-marital property and what will be deemed marital property
- I'll draft a document which states how liabilities and other obligations shall be discharged
- I'll draft a document which states how assets will be divided when the marriage is dissolved by death, divorce or otherwise
- I'll arrange for a Notary to be present at the signing in order to notarize the Prenuptial Agreement
- I'll provide you and your future spouse with 2 original documents and several copies of your Prenuptial Agreement
